NO 4 WHEEL DRIVE

Toyota Hi-lux pick up stuck in high 4 and stick will not move.Any idea what it could be?

    Hello ,it is a manual just tried pushing brake while trying to shift but no luck.thanks for trying.We haven,t used 4wdrive,but we want to sell her ,so we want to sort out problem first.

Hello, If you have an automatic transmission put it in neutral and push the brake and while your doing that try to shift into 2WD. If it still won't move then try backing up about 30 feet and then try and shift. If you have a manual transmission make sure your pushing the brake while you're trying to shift and back up if needed. Good luck, let me know what you find.

4 wheel neutral vehicle will not move that for towing or moving around --put in 2wh --4hi or if have 4low transfer case has to be in a setting to move

I am the toyota pick-up 92 and am like instal my fifht wheel hich

you may be over ambitious. check the tow rating for the vehicle. a fifth wheel type is probably over the towing limit for your truck. if this is a 92 Hi-lux, it may be limited to approx 17-1800 kg.
