My tail lights wont turn on - 1999 Dodge Neon

Tail lights consist of running lights, brake lights, turn signals and backup lights (also tag light). Which of yours are not working?

The tail lights are on a 15amp fuse marked F2-17.
The location should be in your owners manual.

Sounds like a problem in the wiring harness.

its your running light fuse under driver dash board or on side of it

COULD HAVE FAULTY BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH OR BAD GROUND WIRE AT BRAKE LIGHTS AND TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS.

most rear tail lights and turn/stop lights are the same dual filiment bulb. it is possible for your tail light to work and your brake light not to and still have a bad bulb. I would check the bulb first, your brake light works on the left yes? this would mean that the fuse is fine

Check the fuses...One of my buddies car had the same problem tail and dash light wasnt working so i checked the fuses 1 of it was gone

common for the brake lights to stay on but not tail lights are you sure its tail lights ? if it is are the front side lights on ?
