Most safety switches are a black module located on the side of the transmission, where it shifts into gear.

2004 Chrysler sebring. Was stuck in park.. Would not start. How do i check to se if the neutral safety switch is bad

On the console there should be a little door. If you open the door and use a narrow screwdriver in this hole it should allow you to take the car out of park. Be sure that you have your foot on the brake when you do this or the car may move.

2003 Chrysler Sebring won't start

Probably the switch that is made when you have it in park. there is a switch that tells the car its in park. try and put the transmission in Neutral and see if it will start. Most cars will allow you to start the engine inpark and neutral. If it starts in neutral all the time then its the switch.
