there is an adjustment bolt on the back side of the idler pulley . you just loosen up the nut on the front of the pulley , then turn the 12 mm bolt under the pump on the back side of the pulley.

There's no such thing as a timing belt diagram.
Do you mean to say the "Procedure" for changing a timing belt in a 92 Prelude?
By asking such a question I can only interpret it as a clear indication that you've never changed a timing belt before.
If this is true, then you don't want to start out or practice on your own car.
Get the car to a pro and have the job done right.
If not true (and you've changed timing belt's in the past)
Then give me the engine size and I'll post the:
"PROCEDURE" for changing the belt in a few hours.
SOURCE: is my car ok to drive with a broken fan or AC belt?
Open the hood and start the car with the a/c off. Do all the components running on the drive belt seem to be working ok?
Turn on the a/c and check to see if the symptoms repeat themselves...
If with the a/c off everything is ok, then you're probably fine to drive until you can get the a/c unit serviced.
If the symptoms are happening with the ac off, then it could be an idler pulley or a water pump or alternator, or powersteering.
Best bet is to open the hood and do a bit of inspection/investigation with motor running.

If it runs good no worries. Your check engine light will turn on if theres a problem in one of your sensor, reving it on hi rpm will normally give you a light..

You need to check the tcm for codes too. The s3 light is like the check engine light for the tcm. The VSS code might be your problem.
