Does your radio have a security code to make it work again after a battery disconnect? Some models have that in case of radio theft. It makes the radio worthless to the theif because he will not have the code to make it work. If you don't have the code, go to the dealership and ask them if they have or can get the code. If you bought the car new it will probably be with your records or if you bought it used, they may have put it in owners manual or in the records somewhere. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

How to reset the radio of 2003 toyota rav 4 after replacing a batttery?

you need a 4 digit code to put in the radio to make it work again. should be with the paper work of the car if not you may be able to get the code from toyota but it may cost a bit. would first remove the radio as some times the code has been written on the radio some were if it has been removed before.

Radio/Clock will not play or appear on screen

You should check with your dealer for how to reset the radio after someone has tampered with it. This has happened to me and it appears someone had tried to remove the Bose stereo...thorough detailing!

2003 Nissan Altima radio still works but the clock/radio station display went blank...HELP

Just fixed this myself today. There is a surface mount component (resistor I believe) that has come off inside the radio. It was labelled 180 on my radio. It is on the circuit board actually inside the radio, not the dispaly button panel, on the left side behind the volume know. I soldered it back on and now the display works again.

1997 Crown Vic blows radio fuses

Try checking all the grounds for the radio, over time they can weeken. If that doesn't work, put in a new ground wire with a heavier gauge, that should fix it. It sounds like a ground problem.

Good luck, Daniel
