My car wont open the key does not open the door

Most new cars have a feature under the door handle whereby there is small slot just enough for your key to fit in ( I'm not to sure if you turn the key but it should unlock the manually. ( I know guys most new cars don't have keys but just do some research on the type of vehicle you have and it Wil show you how to remove the key from fob).

valet key wont open door, only starts the car 3 times, wont open globe compartment or truck , is a valet key. for stranges to park your car

Is the rod from the out side door handle to the latch connected? I've had the plastic lock break at the handle. Remove the door panel and check.

A bit more information needed i'm afraid is the door jammed or just will not unlock when using the key fob ??

check your electrical system

not locks ur key is probably worn down if both doors are not opening with key than problem is with key have a key cut and try locks [thats if u dont have a spare key to use ] if new key wont work than wil need to replace locks look in bone yard cheapest online moderate price dealer higher[or use vin number for new key can be pricey ]

NO THE CENTROL LOCKING MOTOR IS STICKING,REMOVE DOOR PANEL AND GRESE THE RODS ON THE MOTOR

I have a 2002 land rover discovery and my passenger front door won't unlock with the interior lock button on the dash or with the key fob. The only way to unlock the door is to pull the handle on the inside of the door. Is the actuator bad?

at this point you have 2 options, 1, go to a parts store and get a jimmy kit that helps you break into the car by unlocking the door, whicch sometimes can be tricky or if you have aaa they will unlock it for you for free, 2, you would have to reach from underneath and feel around for the cable, folow it to the latch assembaly and carefully release the latch assembaly, this way wil be very difficult and a tight area.

If you didn't change your remote kit than its a best way to take to your dealer ,there is minor problem with sequence so they wil do free of cost with car document.
