My left blinker doesnt flash on my 97 mazda miata

I'm working on my Mazda Miata and didn't realize I had the fuse box to the left under the hood unplugged and tried to start the car. As a result the car will not start and I'm not sure where to start.

Yes, you are correct, disconnecting the fuse box has broken the pairing between the key and the immobilizer system. Did you remove the main connection plugs to the fuse box? My thought is that those connectors have never been removed since the car was built and breaking a remaking the connection, you might have some connections that as not as good as they should be. Pull the connectors again and give them a good spray with electrical contact cleaner (that is NOT WD40). Then reconnect.

Why does 97 miata headlight retractor stay in upright position?

Common problem with any brand of car with power headlights. Probably the motor. You could inspect the unit to verify that it moves freely. Check on the Miata forum.

Will 1992 miata side mirrors fit exactly on a 1996 miata

The above is a good explanation of accessing the mirror but to answer your question directly, yes, they will fit. All the 90-97 mirrors are interchangeable with the exception of installing later power mirrors onto a 90-91 Miata where it wasn't a factory option. They will mount up fine but do require enlarging the center hole where the wires need to run.

The driver side window doesnt go down..its electric...2000 mazda miata but the passager's window does...

wiring different to each window from center console. check the power from the switch and clean the connections at the switch.

Main Switch Is Located LEFT of Steering Wheel Down Low and there are 3 Switches and Cruise switch is the One on FAR LEFT

My 97 Miata turn signals (Left & Right, Front & Rear) stopped working (along with energency flashers)I hear clicking under the dashboard. My headlights work and all fuses are good.(That I can find)

Had a similar problem with my 2000 Miata- had to have the harness inspected and found it was a ground circuit fault

If left side turn signal dont work.could have faulty bulb or wrong type bulb.bulb sockets could be corroded or worn if so replace bulb sockets.could have bad ground.try using a jumper wire to find new ground see if turn light works.if all is good problem could be a bad turn signal switch.

For myself, if I were to replace something like that, I would (as I did in my 87 RX7 TII) a performance radiator. Koyo the trusted brand is my suggestion though probably more expensive.

That toggle switch is for the security system. That year miata never came with any switches for the soft top of any kind. Most likely that is an aftermarket alarm system. Most factory alarm systems do not come with a toggle switch.

Batteries can have a dead cell in them, meaning there is sufficient charge to run accessories and the "check glass" may look fine (dark green in color on maintenance free batteries), but one dead cell in the battery indicates replacement time.
