Cam sensor, Crank sensor or the ECU may be faulty. A diagnostic test will pinpoint what is faulty.

possible fuel filter fuel pump check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail it should be at 40 psi or more while running at 2000 rpm for two minutes then shut it off watch for leak down on gauge for five minutes it should actually go up not down

look up under your hood there should be the specs.i think its 10 or 12 degree,install your timing light cables to battery pos.and neg. and the clamp to #one ign.wire loosen the bolt with 12mm ranch and turn dist. to the specs.

THERE IS NO LOCKING PEG, YOU WILL HAVE TO EITHER JAM THE FLYWHEEL WITH A PRY BAR (STARTER MOTOR REMOVED) OR US AN IMPACT WRENCH TO REMOVE BOLT, THE PEG IS ONLY TO SET THE TIMING, (THE WEB OF THE CRANKSHAFT MUST REST AGAINST IT) WHEN FITTING NEW BELT AND SETTING BAR FITTED IN SLOTS ON REAR OF CAMSHAFTS

the engine starting only when doing a push start sounds like a bad ignition switch. the coil and ignitor are getting power with the ignition switch at "on" but not at the "start" position.

Chech the cam timming sound like its not set up right maybe jumped a tooth.
