Hi Andrew, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair

Andrew, I've been doing this for over 40 years and I can tell you without hesitation that you cannot override a factory alarm system because its built into everything that has to do with the engine starting and running. Hope this helps and please send people to my auto-repair-website to check out my satisfied customers at: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/

Timing belt 18 16v twincam

THERE IS NO LOCKING PEG, YOU WILL HAVE TO EITHER JAM THE FLYWHEEL WITH A PRY BAR (STARTER MOTOR REMOVED) OR US AN IMPACT WRENCH TO REMOVE BOLT, THE PEG IS ONLY TO SET THE TIMING, (THE WEB OF THE CRANKSHAFT MUST REST AGAINST IT) WHEN FITTING NEW BELT AND SETTING BAR FITTED IN SLOTS ON REAR OF CAMSHAFTS
