All trans. take dex 2 or dex 3     with your nissan being a 95 i would say dex 3 my friend.    dextron 3 is like dot 3 brake fluid it mixes with all fluids of its class.

good luck

Use Nissan Matic “D” (Continental
U.S. and Alaska) or Genuine Nissan

2005 Nissan Pathfinder has a rough shift when accelerating at 18 mph. Transmission fluid and filter have been changed and still happening during heavy acceleration.

Hello you will need transmission repairs sometimes when a filter and fluid is changed when a scheduled maintenance has not been followed by owners manual you might have trouble as you do believe it or not sometimes when you exceed the suggested service millage you better off just to leave it and do not service or you can experience trouble as you are having. My solution is take your vehicle in to a transmission specialist you will need a hoist to determine the extent of your repair you might have to rebuild your transmission.

What is the coolant capacity for a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder?

There should be a section in your owners manual for fluid capacities (coolant, oil, transmission fluid, etc) If you do not have your manual, a quick call to any Nissan dealership should get you an answer.

How do I change the automatic transmission fluid in my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder?

there will be a plug at the bottom of the transmission. pull the plug, let it drain, and replace the plug. Refill with the recommended amount of fluid out of the owners manual. Run the vehicle through the gears a few times with the car started. let it idle till the temp. comes up, then check the trans fluid level and add till full
