I HAD MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CHECKED AND GOT 3 CODES P1495 AND P1494. THE OTHER BEING MY OXYGEN SENSOR, BANK 1 SSENSOR 2. If some one can tell me where to find the oxygen sensor and if it is a upstream/downstream. And how can I get rid of the ..94/95 error codes. I cant find any details on it anywhere.. please help!
Bank 1 sensor is down stream of the exhaust manifold and before the catalytic convertor
Code p 1494 refers to EVAP system leak detected
p1495 is EVAP solenoid /valve fault when searching for fault codes go to the browser page and type in --- fault code ( what ever code you get -- there are plenty of pages describing the fault and how to fix
one entry for each code

if u have one oxygen sensor then u need to take a deep look at the bottom of ur car it will be somewhere at the Exhaust pipe if u have a catalytic converter then u will have two oxygen sensors one before the catalytic converter & the other will be after the catalytic converter. Note: the catalytic converter is located at after a little bit of beginning in Exhaust pipe.

That code is a good O2 sensor reporting a lean condition. Lazy people and part stored just say it is the O2 sensor because they don't know how to fix it. Bank 1 is the side of the engine with the number one cylinder. That bank has a lean condition meaning it doesn't have enough fuel for the given amount of air. Since this is only affecting one side of the engine, that narrows down possible causes. Possible causes would a leaking intake gasket or a broken vacuum hose on that side. Since both sides get fuel from the same pump and rail, this wouldn't be a fuel pump or regulator issue. It can, however, be an indication of a bad fuel injector on that side of the engine. The MAP sensor also couldn't cause this code because, just like the fuel pump, that MAP sensor works for both sides of the engine and the code is only for one side. I would drive it for a couple more days to see if you get any additional codes that could help point you towards the actual problem. In the meantime, I would check for vacuum leaks (look at the rubber hoses and listen for high pitch hissing or sucking sounds.)

bank 1 sensor 1 is the o2 sensor on the bank with cylinder #1 on the engine side of the catalytic converter.
SOURCE: On a 2004 Dodge Caravan,
Bank #1 is on the side that cylinder #1 is on
Sensor #1 is the one closest to the engine (upstream)
Sensor #2 is the rear or monitor, they don't
get replaced (downstream)

Hello
Lets look at these codes and what they imply is a problem.
P0135 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 1 Sensor
P0155 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 2 Sensor
The O2 sensors in this system have tiny wire filament heater in them, this allows the O2 to reach operating temperature very fast, if you turn the key on and wait a few seconds on a cold engine you will feel the sensors get hot very quickly, hot enough to burn your fingers. Here are the reason's that cause the codes to set for the heater circuits of the sensors.
Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Banks 1 and 2 Sensor #1 circuit open shorted to ground.
- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Banks 1 and 2 Sensor #1 circuit poor electrical connection.
- Faulty Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Banks 1 and 2 Sensor #1 circuit (both of them, no not likely)
- Heated Oxygen Sensor (H2OS) Banks 1 and 2 Sensor #1 circuit fuse or fuses blown/open. (Very likely)
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) (very unlikely)
