94 toyotq celica gt wont start

A few days ago, as I was driving my car i noticed it wasnt running right. as I pulled out of my driveway and to a stop sign, it seemed like it was going to die. I turned and continued to drive to me destination about a mile from my home. It was driving like a car that was about to run out of gas when I had 3/4th's of a tank. When I got to my destination it wouldnt re-start. I didnt hear any knocking or anything like that it simply was acting like it was running out of gas but i am sure I had plenty. I checked for gas leaks but there was non, I also checked the fuel pump and it was fine. Can anyone help me please??

I had a broken wire that runs the power from the battery to the fuse box under the hood in my 94 Celica. It had symptoms of a bad battery or alternator. I spliced the wire and haven't had any issue since then.

2000 Dodge Stratus SE stalling and not restarting

Sounds like a broken wire probably close to where the computer is. I would inspect the harness here and then under and around the power distribution module (fuse and relay box under the hood) This can be removed for closer inspection of the contacts underneath.

Check all sensor connections especially the crank

Pull the MAP sensor plug connector out and try to start the car, if it starts and runs rough and then wont when the map is plugged in then replace it and you are a go.
I think this is your problem or fuel pump or the fuel pump wire is corroded typically where it connects to the harness and then goes into the body.
This is somewhere to start at least.

Hello All - I'm hoping someone here can give me a few ideas. My 92 toyota celica st has sit for about 5 days - for the last 3 days the temp outside has been in the single digits. Went to go start today and...

You can try this.
Turn on the key and listen for the fuel pump to prime.
It will sound like a gentle hum. when it stops, turn the key off. wait a few seconds and do it again. Do this three or four times, but don't try to start it. after the third or fourth time you turn it off, try to start it. It may not be priming the fuel injectors fast enough.

Car won't start HELP PLEASE

Hello...

I would start, since it is cold outside by checking to make sure the battery is in good shape. If it is not, it will run but when the cold comes it will eventually not turn over. Note: Turning on the lights to see if they are bright is not a good check for the batteries abilty to crank the car. If you have a Checker or Autozone or other auto parts store see if they can test your battery for you.

With the sudden stop starting I would also suspect possibly the fuel pump or the pump relay.

Good Luck...

Mike
