Question about 2008 Volkswagen Jetta
Tire monitor system has a sensor in each rim. damage to these senors, or replacement of compete rim and wheels without reinstallation of sensors will cause light to come on. if nothing was changed, possible long life battery in tire senors is bad.

Do not..DO Not disconnect the battery ever!
it wll cost you a trip to the vw shop to re set the computer.......

Reset the tire pressure warning, same as you would any service issue. Insert key in ignition, hold wrench button and min button, then start engine.

With the ignition on, but before you start the car, press and hold the the "Set" button located in front of the gearshift.
You should hear a tone after holding it for a few seconds. Once you hear the town you can release the button and the light should be reset.

if u have the right tire pressure in the tires the light will go out . but sometimes you have to put 5 to 10 miles on the car to reset
