The 2.4 engine has a timing belt and it is an interference engine.
Have you checked to see if the timing belt is broken ?

What is the compression suppose to be on engine qr 20 ?

compression minimum is 90-100 lbs on almost any engine. Below that it will not support compression. Typical compression on a mid 90's car 150-175 lbs.

Loose compression engine

Not sure what loose compression is, but low compression would not be affected by changing the plugs unless the wrong plugs were installed.
The timing belt may have broken, but again that would not be caused by replacing the plugs. I would run a compression test to verify the problem.

What compression for 2001 chevy s10,2.2

Car is 12 years old, average mileage for that is well over 100K, so expect compression somewhere between 150-200 psi. Important that readings are still close together for balance, but you have some leeway there: Most manufacturers say lowest compression should be within 80 % of highest reading. Any cylinder with low compression (below 140 or 150) should have a leak-down test to pinpoint where compression is lost.

98 honda accord v6 only has 90 psi compression

90 psi compression is the minumun for gas engine to ignite, you have low compression what is the compression next to it? The compression on Honda V6 is 200psi. you can have a valve problem a blown head gasket, Also make sure your compression gauge is accurate by using another compression gauge

No compression

A car won't start without compression.
Request the compression numbers from him, if he hesitates he's probably trying to rip you off.

Randomly not starting could be a half dead fuel pump or just a loose connection under the hood causing sporadic spark to the plugs.

1998 dodge 318 5.2L compression

when you do your compression test squirt some oil in the cylinder through the spark plug hole first then check compression if you have compression then its rings. If still no compress you might have worn off cam lobes.

Dead cylinder. good spark (plug&wires),compression, fuel .Has an engle 110 cam and comp elec. points.Every thing else is stock, duel carb set up 40 cadron solix.

Vacuum leak? You said compression is good. You checked crankning compression, did you check running compression. A broken valve spring would cause good cranking compression but very low running compression

Wut number range shood i hav for agood compression test on the cylinders of my 1999 s10 4.3 liter v6?

Normal compression will be between 185 to 205.
Minimum compression is 180
Lowest compression reading should not be less than 70 percent of your highest compression reading. None of the compression readings should be less than 100 psi.
