2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 Logo

My 2005 Nissan Altima's radio works but doesn't pick up but one station, what could be wrong?

The radio works, turns on/off, scans etc. But it only picks up one station in our area and only picks up 3 or 4 or vary large cities. I am at a loss as to what it could be. I asked the dealership if it could be the antenna and they looked at me funny, saying if it was the antenna, it wouldn't pick up ANY stations. Please help! This is my daughters car and she is getting tired of CD's!

Radio in 2008 Altima problem.Cannot change stations or turn off.

If you have lost control over the radio, then there is an issue with the control module and/or board. The stereo will need to be repaired/replaced.

2005 altima blowing hot air

could be your switch, or you have a freon leak and there is no freon in the system. open hood and watch the ac pump and have them turn on and off the ac. if in engages then it is probably freon. if it doesn't check ac fuses.

How to turn off a engine light for a nissan altima

Go to Autozone or similar business for a free scan of the computer. The scanner can turn the light off if no other codes (problems) are revealed. Good luck!

No audio from my radio, and the fm tuner scan will not stop on any station. i bought the car used and it had no radio. the seller of the radio says its good and tested.

if theres no audio then stereos broke or hooked up wrong . Scan not stopping at station would be bad reception (antena not hooked up right) Go to a car audio shop spend a hundred bucks or 2 and get a good stereo and let them hook it up for you for $20.
