I have a 95 S10 with dead ****** 4l60E i have a good 2002 4L60E its a 2 pice case same length same plug ins the speed sensor is on opisite side the cooler lines are different but i can make lines does the computer see it or not as the wiring plugs are same only ask because i owne it

It sounds very likely that it is going lean. Could be a bad Mass airflow sensor or a fuel pump, maybe plugged injectors. The first thing to do if you can get your hands on one, is to put a scan tool on it that reads live data and go up a long steady hill while you are watching the O2 sensor voltage. It should toggle back and forth across .5V, if it remains below .5V while you drive, then you know it's not getting enough fuel. If so, check the fuel pressure to spec. If it is good, then the pump is fine and you're chasing the other two.

Installing the full-size Blazer trans into the S-10 would be safer. As long as they came off of the same size engine then yes, they will interchange. But.... the trans off of the S-10 is not built as strong as the trans for the full-sized Blazer, clutch capacity is less, band servo may have smaller apply area, and torque convertor stall speed may different enough to set a "code". Towing capability would be compromised. I have no idea what you meant by the "bolt for the plate".
