If it is blowing the starter fuse you probably have a bad starter with a high draw. You might want to take the car to a repair shop and have the starter circuit tested.....I hope this helps you.

1997 Plymouth Breeze blows 20amp ign./ starter fuse when starting

When this fuse blows on a consistent basis, the large majority of the time it is caused by an internal short in the starter motor solenoid. The fix is to replace the starter motor.

Why does my fuse keep blowing for my tail lights in my 96 plymouth breeze ?Every time I put fuse in it cut the lights on the fuse blows?

The fuse keeps blowing out because there is a short circuit. Check the tailight sockets for corosion. Is there a tow package wiring installed?

Fuel pump fuse keeps blowing car wont start

Your fuel pump might be clogged or just about frozen up. Change it out. Or there is a pinched wire shorting the system out near the tank.

My ignition fuse keeps blowing every time i start the car

Check the power wiring running to the starter for exposed wire or loose insulation. I've run into the same thing on a few Chrysler vehicles where the insulation on the starter wire just melts off and blows fuses like crazy

1998 plymouth breeze

If you keep popping fuses everytime you try to start the car, you have a bare hot wire grounding out somewhere. That will cause the fuse to pop everytime you turn the key on. the best way to fix it is if you know someone who is good with electrical wires. Have them pull the fuse panel out and follow the wire until they find where the wire is bare. Have them fix that bad spot and that should fix your problem.

Ignition fuel starter fuse keeps blowing and it won't start

Hi, I had the same problem with the same fuse, so me and my friend went to a car shop and asked what could make the ign. fuel starter fuse keep blowing. The guy told us {i'm not lying} to go underneath the car and hit the middle of the gas tank a couple times, and move a bunch of wires underneath the hood. So we went back and hit underneath the gas tank a couple of times and moved and shook every wire under the hood. we the replaced the fuse and what do you know, The car started right up. I hope this helps out with your problem if you didn't fix it already!
