Question about 2005 Saturn Relay
I own a 2005 Saturn Relay 3, one day the key fob stopped working, but you could still lock and unlock via the d/s door lock, then the rear hatch would not unlock, then the power sliding doors would not open or close automatically only manually, now turning the key in the d/s key lock does nothing, and now one of the power sliding doors has totally stopped functioning. I though it was a door actuator but now I am very confused, any help would be great. Thank you

The easy part is you just need the latch for the liftgate. The hard part is getting to it and opening the liftgate to replace the latch. You should be able to pull the liftgate trim off most of the way with the gate closed and try to manually actuate the latch to open the gate. You may have to go so far as breaking the latch from the inside to open the gate and then replace your latch.

Try spraying some white lithium grease inside the key cylinder with a straw that comes with the new can. That should make the key turn easier. The straw goes right on the little hole on the nozzle. Best of luck to you.
