Check for water at the bottom of the fuel filter located left firewall of engine bay. water drain is at the base of the filter with a tap to undo and allow water to drain

usually 2 options to reset toyota light.
1.remove small rubber plug in dash clear lense.use a long thin rod to reach in and push the small reset button at the bottom of the gauges.Light will extinguish.
2.remove the instrument panel and unplug all from behind to turn it over.Usually in the centre of the rear you will see two holes and 1 screw.for t-belt.shift the screw to other hole.refit dash ensuring all the plugs are refitted.Light should now be out.

Jambo Jambo.This problem, unfortunately is going to be in the fuel injector pump itself. If the veins are wearing it will begin to fail at high RPMs when the fuel demand is high. You are on the right track though. It is fuel. Replace the injector pump and time accordingly. Feel free to contact me if you need anything else.
