SOURCE: My 98 jeep grand cherokee wont start.

fuse 8 40a supplies power to starter relay and ignition switch, to close the starter solenoid and engage the starter which draws directly from the battery. check to see that the starter relay is closing, if not ensure that the park neutral switch is not faulty (open circuit), it provides path to close relay (ground side) on the 85 - 86 terminals. if the starter relay does not close the starter will not run. if you have a spare relay swap out the relay for a quick fix attempt. hope this helps

Where is the starter relay on a 1995 Mitsubishi Mighty Max PU

It sounds more like you have a bad connection somewhere or possibly a weak battery.

Starter relay

Depends. When you turn the key to start, the only thing that has power is the outside lights and the starter relay. In the on position everything but the starter should have power. So that will have to be sorted out. If some things are dead with the key on, either you have lost power between the battery and the fuse box, or the key switch is faulty.

1992 mitsubishi mighty max 2.4 liter manual, could not get starter to turn over until i went directly to starter, does not seem to be getting enough voltage to starter solenoid, what do i need to check in...

Run a wire directly from the (disconnected) starter solenoid wire to the (disconnected, just grounded) horn. See how it blows. If weak, it could be the ignition switch or the clutch safety switch.

Horn blows continually on my 1990 Mitsubishi Mighty Max when ignition switch is turned on.

Possibly a bad horn relay, or maybe the horn switch on the steering wheel is acting up.

My interior lights turn on everything works its just my engine wont turn over it sounds like a clicking noise

Battery is weak or bad. The clicking noise is the starter solenoid and is a result of...not enough power in the battery.

Does a 93 mighty max have a starter relay, if so, where is it.

All vehicles have a starter relay. It is called the solenoid, and is usually on the starter.
The exception is mostly Ford, that likes to put their starter solenoids on the fender well.

My car has power, lights, radio horn all still work, but when i turn it over it just clicks. i also noticed the the dic reads power steering

it takes little power to operate lights, radio, horn as there is very little amperage draw on the battery when these are operated.the starter however takes anywhere from about 140 to 180 amps to turn an engine over.make sure the battery is in good shape by having a starter draw test done on it,you could just have a bad starter relay(solenoid) or a bad starter motor with a bad spot in the starter itself.either of these require replacing the starter.you can take a chance and just replace the solenoid but the starter will possibly go bad shortly after.poor battery might cause the dic problem,or you have another problem as well

Tried to start truck but it continues to turn over without key turned, is it bad solenoid....replace starter?

Yes. Replacing the starter should fix it for sure! I wouldn't wait too long though, sometimes they can start on fire if they don't stop trying to turn.

Horn won't work on my 1994 Mitsubishi Mighty MAx

the horn relay is located underneath the hood close to the fire wall on the passenger side in a black box with a diagram on it..if the does'nt work try checking the wire under neath the steering wheel cover..

Fuel injector

most likely its not the fuel injectors, if you here a noise when you attempt to start the car it may be the starter trying to start the engine, if this is the case it is most likely a fuel rail issue or fuel pump the intrepid has always had a poor quality fuel pump which is in tank. if you dont here anything and your horn works and lights and radio then your starter or starter relay or stater solenoid may need to be replaced. if nothing inside works like horn or radio the there may be a ground-strap broken or your battery is dead or the battery cables went bad or broke.
