Popped the trunk using interior release now the trunk will not latch closed. The lock claw is in the open position and is movable. If I press on the lock claw (simulating pressure to lock it) it will not trigger it to lock. The interior release lever feels like it has no tension.
TRUNK WILL NOT OPEN
It
can be trunk cable issue or the latch issue which gets open/close. It has to be
inspected. =========

Took lock assembly cover off, took off springs to lubricate and move
assembly around. The lock now works with key only. I think
the cable has snapped.
