I havent seen any es350s with a red warning when getting close to an object.

sometimes with this problem such as replacing to battery or such. You can reset the settings by holding the set button, then also pressing the one button and holding them for about five seconds. If the seat still moves from the bottom switches then it's most likely a switch problem or fuse. I know you probably don't want to hear this but the best way is probably to take it to the dealership and have them look at it.

The gas cap or the gas cover?
If the cap wont go back on then I don't know whats going on there.
If you mean the COVER or fuel door, then I would say your cable release is gummed up and sticking. Get some WD and spray the latching point on the car and then push the door in and let it spring back a couple times..spray again and repeat.....do this until the door stays shut. Then the next time you are getting an oil change get the station mechanic to spray the latch with some white lithium or other approved lubricant.

Your throttle position sensor might be stuck on the wide open throttle setting!
Do you have any check engine codes? Is the check engine light on?
It might not be if the TPS is still in the normal range...but is just sticking open.
