SOURCE: dip stick tubing
if the end that is on the bottom of the new tubing is smooth then the old one should twist out with a bit of force no particular direction to pull off though just twisting

SOURCE: where is the transmission dipstick and fill tube
If it has a 4T40 trans it dosn't have one you have to pull the 7/16 plug out by the passenger axle the fill it up by the red or black cap on top of the trans til it runs out the plug hole on the bottom. I know thanx GM hope this helps.

Hi!!
the dipstick tube is fasten by a bolt either at the bottom or in the middle of the tube, if it was at the middle, I don't think it would have broken. Look at the base of the dipstick tube where it goes into the engine block, there should be a bolt, use a 10 mm. socket and a long extension to remove it., then pull the tube out.
I believe the dipstick tube is bent, that's why the dipstick can't go all the way into the oil pan.
Good Luck!! Don't forget.to rate this post!!
