    There is a vacuum leak,at idle when the engine warm and at operating temperature put your hand on the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) if it is hot to touch the leak is at the EGR, check also the PCV hose see if the hose is ruptured takiung in false air,somehow there is a vacuum leak its the only thing other than a binding accelerating cable that can cause this

SOURCE: high/low sensor switch location for 1999 Buick Century

Ros.....The heater motor is located under the dash on the right hand side (passanger side). You will have to remove the close out panel to access. The resistor you are looking for will be to the lower left of the fan motor at about the 7:00 position. Illustration is below.
let me know.

It could easily be running out of fuel - the fuel filter. And possibly the fuel pump. I would check the fuel filter first. hope this helps you, Rick

Not low in the recovery bottle or

That doesn't tell you much

My buick centry is missing real bad.

Make sure you do not have any vacuum leaks and the egr is functioning properly. Next do a compression check and see if you have a low or dead cylinder. I hope this helps you to find your solution. Merry Christmas! and God Bless!
