1993 Subaru Impreza engine problems

My car was working fine until I parked it for two weeks. It was in a garage where the temperature was normally fifty to sixty degrees. It started in the morning after it was parked but when I started it to go home from work it wouldn't start. I tried starter fluid which started it for about five sec then stopped. I figured it was the fuel pump and changed it and it worked for about four weeks then today it started fine in the morning but it won't start in the evening. I should mention I can't hear the fuel pump working when I turn the key but I can hear the fuel pump relay. The fuses seem fine. I have also tried replacing the fuel filter and fuel pump relay. But it still died in the evening after It started fine 4 times in the day. The funny thing is every time it dies if it sits over night it starts the next morning. Please help I'm getting frustrated. Thanks

Wow you are good. I followed what you said. I ran a wire from the battery to the starter with no joy. It was a Airtex fuel pump which has a history of failing from the posts I read. I brought it back to auto zone and bought a good one from Napa (like 30$ more). And now my car seems to run good. On another note is there any post checks I should do after installing it besides a fuel pressure check? Thanks

Ok first question where did you buy the fuel pump tell me other try this when car is not starting go to fuel pump get a circuit tester have somebody else turn key to on position for ten seconds turn off then again if no noise from pump check for power at fuel pump there should be one wire that has power for obout ten seconds then cuts of. if power to pump and it does the ten second on and shuts of by it self then you got a faulty pump, now if no power at all on ten second teste then get a long wire thay can reach from battery to fuel pump hook up to your battery go to wire at fuel pump and hit it with wire from battery if you can hear pump going on them you have a bad contact ether at fuel pump conector or at relay conector or bad wire one thing when looking at conector at fuel pump you will find sevral wires two wires are for fuel level one power on ground other wires are for pump one ground and other for power to pump if any question ask me i will help i am a mechanic let me know

Subaru Impreza 1.8l engine is overheating while sitting, radiator dual fans aren't working, and radiator has as a result sprung a leak, possibly two in the top.

change the radiator and the temperature sensor as this controlls when the fans work.
the sensor is normally fitted into one side of the radiator

2006 Subaru Impreza. Oil warning light stays on dimly when starting from cold but fades as engine warms up to normal running temperature. I did an oil and filter change about 2 weeks ago. Oil level on...

No, just keep an eye on it to see it does not start staying on longer and longer. The oil pressure sensor my be a little off,and at worse the oil pump is a little weak. Just keep up on the oil changes.3500 miles max.
