Take apart the tilt steering column, buy the small harness, and replace.
(Harness has turn signal switch, etc. on one end. Harness goes down the column, and plugs in; on the other end. Or cut wires, solder, and use heat shrink tubing. Slide heat shrink tubing up one wire BEFORE soldering. Slide down onto soldered connection of wire, heat ->heat shrink tubing )

If it has the same electronic's as the american made explorer ,you probably fried the driver (transistor) inside the smart junction box (electronic control module ) .
Normal Operation The smart junction box (SJB) sends reference signals to the multifunction switch through circuit CLS39 (VT/WH) (LH turn input) and circuit CLS41 (GY/YE) (RH turn input). When the multifunction switch is switched to the LH or RH TURN positions, the voltage signal is routed to ground. When the SJB detects the multifunction switch in the LH or RH TURN position, the SJB sends voltage to the appropriate turn lamps.
All the turn lamps are wired to the SJB. The timed on/off cycle is determined by the SJB and is set to flash approximately 80 times per minute if both the front and rear turn lamps operate correctly. If only an individual turn signal lamp operates, the SJB flashes the remaining turn lamp approximately 160 times per minute

Hooking up a professional type scan tool an checking fot DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in the SJB would be a good first step .

2010 Ford Transit Connect - Brake lights not working, replaced pedal switch.

If the fuse for the brake lights is good, I would suspect a broken wire or defective turn signal/multi function switch. The main brake light circuit usually runs through the signal switch assembly. The high mount brake light is on a seperate circuit

I have a 2006 Honda Odyssey Touring. 3.5L V6. When I turn my headlights on, the left turning indicator light comes on inside and the turn signals won't work. When I turn my lights off, the turn signals...

Your headlight switch is shorting to you blinker switch or vise versa. This effects the interior lights because the dimmer switch is wired with the headlight switch. Both switches will need to be rewired. For a car that's less than 10 years old that is ridiculous. You could try to lodge a complaint with Honda. Most cars don't have issues like that for at least 20 years. So unless you've been driving through the arctic or have 500,000 miles you should not be impressed.

How to remove wire harness turn signal

IF in fact you are replacing the turn signal unit completely, there will be a wiring harness with the proper plug attached to the new one. So don't be scared to just cut the plud off the end of the harness after you unplug it from the cab harness. Then just pull the wires right up and out with the old signal switch. Replace it by just folding the new plug on it's side and feed it down through the housing. Plug it in and put the switch back together.

How to remove turn signal wire harness

New set will have a plug on it so don't be concerned about just cutting the plug off to get the old harness out. You have to remove the steering wheel and anything above the turn signal switch to give access to the little pivot bolt the switch is mounted by. Remove this pivot screw/bolt and pull the unit out. After the plug has been cut off the end of the signal harness, the wires will come out easily. Put all that aside, grab your new turn signal unit, Turn the plug on it's side, flat on the wires, and feed it down thru the column housing until the new switch is in position to bolt back on. Now put it back together in reverse of removal.

2004 Cadillac Deville when you turn on the turn signals all lights including trunk bake strip blink by cutting the green wire on the drivers side tail light plug it stopped and everything appears to work...

Green is usually the left turn signal. it should go to the turn signal switch on the steering column. I would start checking the wires (black) and make sure they all have ground to the body. And if they do I would look at the turn signal switch. All of your lights on the outside of the car go threw the turn signal switch. Head lights, turn, park and brake.
