Winding noise when I am driving i can hear a winding, humming noise and it only goes on when im driving or push on the gas pedal

The sound you hear, is it a whining, popping, grinding, scraping or rattling sound?
If you drive a manual transmission vehicle and notice a grinding noise, it can indicate the clutch gear is no longer disengaging correctly.

Vacuum leak from brake booster. If you hear a sucking noise when you press the brake pedal replace it. Another way to check it is to place truck in gear set e-brake press brake pedal repeatedly and see if idle goes up and down. DO NOT PRESS GAS PEDAL DURING TEST.

go to your nearest service stations and have your suspensions go for GREASING.

The only Mallard brand generators I could even locate are all. . . wind driven generators:

Probably rear brakes. Clean them up or get them looked at and try again.

check the play in the pinion gear bearing on the rear end i think! you will find the yoke ie lose and also the bearing has excessive play and needs ro be changed

Hello! If the humming noise is speed related(gets louder as vehicle speed increases)check front wheel bearings. If the noise goes away when turning one way or the other then it will most likely be in the front wheel bearing. If you turn the wheel(while moving)to the right and the noise goes away it is on the right side. If you turn the wheel to the left and the noise goes away its on the left side. Hope this information helps!

same thing, get a used engine, ill sell u mine with 135K miles..
first it was my transmission at 87K, the whining came at 60K miles, but it costs 2K to install, just dump it or bring back for trade in, those dicks..

sounds like either a belt or a bearing or both. joe
