It seems like it may not have compression, where as all you need to do to test it is get an engine compression tester, which is a gaudge with a long extension on it to check your cyllender compression. remove all 4 spark plugs, have someone crank the engine over as you hold the gaudge in place. (it may make a pop noise ot a quick hiss if you don't hold down on the tester enough and sometimes when you release it) and if you have the new parts, and the plug is getting the spark, then it may be a head or heade gaskit issue. If you don't have a compression tester, you can usualy rent them at any advance auto parts or autozone. All you do is pay for the tool upfront, and when you return it you get all your money back.
Hope this helps!

In some cases it may be the injector but it could be the electrical in nature. You may want to inspect the wiring harness of the injector. In some year and models it can be bent near the power steering reservoir. Other than that it could be the injector itself.

A good look at the spark plugs may also give us clues as to what is happening.

The front coil pack fires six cylinders and the rearward coil pack fires four cylinders.
NEVER MIX THESE UP

My 2004 Pontiac Aztec/rally has a different firing order stamped om the coil packs. They are from left to right standing in front of car they are 523641. Why am I getting different order?

This is not the firing order that is stamped on the coil packs.
Coils are matched by 2 pairs of cylinders for ignition spark plugs and coils system.
1- Like 5 2 and 3 6 and 4 1
2- Pairs of 2 cylinders are firing at the same time.
3- When cylinder number 5 fire at ( Power Cycle) the cylinder number 2 fire but in ( Exhaust Cycle ). That is why you have those number stamped on the coil packs.

Hope it helps.

Firing order & Wire Routing for 2009 Dodge Nitro 3.7 w/ three coil setup

The firing order for v6 is 165432
The driver side cylinder bank is numbered from front to rear-- 2-4-6
The passenger side cylinder bank is numbered from front to rear 1-3-5
The picture is for your coil pack, hopefully. So you can see how the coil towers are numbered.
My database for 09 showed coil on plug ignition. Is this the original engine?
I did see info for 07--3.7L that did appear to show a coil pack in tune-up manual.

Can you tell me what the firing order is when looking at the motor of a 2005 GMC Envoy SLT 4.2?

Firing order is 1, 5, 3, 6, 2, 4. Number 1 cylinder is up front. Why would you need the firing order, this engine does not have plug wires, each plug has its own coil pack, each coil pack is controlled by the computer.

I have a 1998 Pontiac transport van 3.4 engine. The engine light is on and it is running rough. The code says my problem is the number 2 cylinder. I changed the spark plug and with inspection I can see...

cylinder 2 coil could be bad.cylinder 2 and 5 fires from the same coil pack.if coil 2 checks out good.you have a dirty injector or faulty injector to number 2 cylinder.
