Question about Volvo Cars & Trucks
I have a 1997 Volvo 850R turbo with 200,000 miles on it. been a great car until the temp outside dropped below 60. Now it wont start till around 10am. Had my hubby change o2 sensors, spark plugs, ignition coil and mod, checked mass air mod... nothing has helped. Will it help to install a heat pad on oil pan?
we have the same car, i would have a mechanic check the ECU. thats the first step in finding out what is wrong and why its burning so mutch fuel. it could also be your air filter, but then agian, you wouldnt be burning a tank of gas a day. well hope you get it fixed.

Replace the cat you have ran it for years with a bad 02 sensor so now replace it and you will get better performance and better gas miliage. Never run a check engine light fo a long time it's telling you something is wrong. youer lucky you did not destroy the engine.
