Wrecked front end on 04 cavalier -what other years body parts fit
I wrecked my 04 cavalier coupe and am looking to buy parts or possibly a different cavalier to take parts off. what other years can I look for that would have a hood, front bumper, headlights, etc. that I could switch out?
Look at the headlights as they were the most obvious change between the yearsI am pretty sure 03-05 were the same

Unlike the old days, swapping engines from year to year is a science. 2000 cavalier had 2 different engines (2.2 2.4) with different control systems. You must make sure that the replacement engine is the same by checking the 8th digit in the serial number and then the internal components may be different and not compatible with with the new sensors and computer controls. Your local wrecking / salvage yard will be able to help you find what you need.
It is possible, but hard to say for sure. The LS is based on the Jaguar platform, but it is the body panels that are the difference. There is no interchange that will tell, so the best advice I have is try it. Take measurements and look at bolt patterns. You might get lucky.
I wouldn't. There is no more "Oldsmobile" and parts are already a problem. GM makes a "generic" part that fits Chevy's, Pontiacs, Olds, Buicks but then you have to buy an "adapter" for your model which can be as much as the needed part. I've played this game on a 1994 Chevy Caviler on a wiper motor. Wiper motor $204, adapter $164, and it's just a piece of stamped metal with holes in different places and studs welded in, and it fits 6-10 models. Unless it's well below NADA wholesale price, find another car. It has NO resale value, and if you're in any kind of wreck, it will be "totalled" by the insurance company. If it's a 4 cyl., the engine needs a major service (about $800) for a timing chain/belt and a new tensioner, and front seals. Take it to an independant mechanic and ask him. I'll bet it needs CV joints too, $$$$$$$$, unless they have been recently replaced. Look carefully at the front tires. If the tread is worn on the edges more than the middle, you need front-end work and probably CV's and front struts. Lots of money to put into a $1000 car. Sorry to be a downer, but I've messed with cars for 43 years now, and learned the hard way about used cars with 100K+ on them.
I checked Chilton's and their Haynes divisions for manuals that covered multiple models built by Chrysler and while there are a number from which to choose, the Stratus is not mentioned with any of them.
When this is the case, other than the drive train, possibly suspension and some body hardware, that model may be unique.
This doesn't bode well for future maintenance of items outside those mentioned above.
Sorry-
The best publication out is printed especially for this its the HOLLANDERS INTERCHANGE BOOK this is the bood and program wrecking yards use to know which parts fit which cars and for how many years.
The hood will be the same, but the bumper will be different: the Geo Metro had its turn signals in the bumper and the Chevy Metro had them in with the headlights. The bumpers also look different, however their mounts may be the same. If your sister wants fer car to look the same you should find a bumper from a 1998-2001 Chevy Metro.
