Ford Focus Hatchback - Back side windows 'rattle'

If you use whats called a slimjim and slide it down on the far left outer side of the window you can access the accuater lever or rod for the door. Any autozone are police officer can show you exactly how to do it. It's real easy.

there's a miswiring or short. Check fuses for shorts and then electric schematics or just follow wiring back from window motor until you find the problem.

Try checking the fuses in the fuse box under the steering column area by the drivers side front seat. The fuse that controls the functions for the back window area might be bad, blown or need replacement.

Sounds like you have a plugged heater vent tube, this is on the lower passinger's side firewall. You can usually clean the junk out with a small wire, carfull, water will pour out !

BEST BET IS TO TAKE IT TO A GOOD BODY SHOP. ALSO CHECK WITH THE FORD DEALER TO SEE IF THERE IS ANY WARRANTY OR SERVICE BULLETIN'S.

disasemble the window switch , water washes the small trash in it and the contacts dont close .

My headlights keeping blowing in my 2007 ford focus sport, i am using a 12v 55w bulb, the right hand side light went out first then then left hand side went out a week later, can anyone help me?

if you paid to have the window put in i would call them back and have them put it on the right way. that way it's covered if something breaks

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

first try to tie all your bolts in the front end with1/2 drive wrench,then try to bounce your car in the front to pinpoint where is the rattle it could be your strut mount
