The car will start. However, it won't move in drive or reverse. I just had it serviced at Jiffy Lube. What are the possible problems?
What did they sevice motor oil or transmission if transmission was serviced then most likely there is no fluid in your transmission they allways forget to put it on or they mite of disconeted one of the connectors on transmission hope tis helps o and belive me your not the only one i am a mechanic have lots of costomers that had similar problems after takeing there car to jeffy lube

Im not aware of that specific recall if any. You can go on the GM website and search for it.
Have you replaced the fuses recently? sounds like too much amperage is getting to the bulbs causing it to over heat and then burn out over those 2 weeks. Check the voltage at the outlet, and check to make sure the proper rated fuse is installed.

This car has several points on the transmission that look similar to the drain plug. If they removed the plug on the driver's side rear of the transmission, then they dropped a linkage from the transmission drive train and it is now sitting on top of the valve body instead of falling into place when you attempt to reverse. Have it checked by a certified transmission shop to verify this is the problem, then I would strongly advise you to make the lube shop pay for the repairs if it is. Hope this helps, good luck!
