1994 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner - won't start with new battery, lights won't come on

Check your battery connections on the battery and the other ends where they go the ground will go to the engine block and the positive to a solenoid make sure all of this is tight and has no corrosion. This is just a loose wiring problem

99 gmc 3500 tool box truck won't start. it just quit. turns over but won't start

You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem to proceed.
Check for spark at the plugs, and fuel pressure at the injectors.
You might want to check the computer for trouble codes too.

I cannot get my truck started, the battery is brand new. The interior and exterior lights and stereo work. Is it my starter?

If the engine is turning over strong but not starting, the starter is fine, but if it's clicking, the starter solenoid on the starter may be defective, Try tightening the battery cables, the lights can still work even though you don't have a good connection to start the engine.

Starter issues

sounds like you have a bendix and ring gear problem, sounds like you have a starter bendix engagement and disengagement problem, drop starter and inspect the flywheel ring gear and starter drive gear (Bendix) .

Look for worn teeth on the flywheel it only will happen in one or two spots 180 degrees apart cause the motor always will stop in one two places... seen it a 1000 times...

I don't know if your truck uses this method but several vehicles I have owned would turn on the electric cooling fan to combat the natural temperature rise that occurs in the engine once the coolant is not circulating anymore.
This prevents hard starting in a hot engine and if the thermostatic switch fails that controls the fan, the cooling (and turn-on) doesn't happen.
This may be your problem.
