My Daughter's 1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible has an electrical issue. She says that the lights stay on when the door is closed and they also flicker when she drives. She also says there are related electrical issues as well such as the 'key in ignition alarm' is going off when the key is not in the ignition nor the lights are on. Where do I start?
Start testing the lighting circuits with a ohm meter for shorts. Sometimes it's impossible to get to the wires without taking the entire car apart. Never do this, instead find a good part of the circuit with your ohm meter
and make a connection there with a new wire.
More common is switch issues or loose connectors.
Obtain a shop manual for your model and refer to the electrical parts section.
Don't worry about the cost of the shop manual, it will pay for itself.

you need to loosen the clamp on the throttle body and unplug the map sensor then there are two clips on the other end pull that out and you should be able to pull the filter out you don't need to take the box off.

Sounds like you need to get it scanned for trouble codes. It will most likely need a new air bag clock spring. This is the wound connection under the steering wheel, it is a common failure item. It may be some other things related to the safty restraint system, but that will show up in a vehicle scan.

All gas charged supports are not created equal. I recommend using O.E. for this application.
Snow, ice and trapped water make the lid heavier than it should be make sure these are not the issue.
