Heater controls and blower moter

It sound like the blower wheel of the blower motor is rubbing the inside of the housing (the smoke). Sounds like the blower wheel rubbing may have burned the inner plastic housing or has come off of the motor shaft inside. Take the blower motor and wheel back out and inspect everything closely I think you will find the problem.

Could be a stuck blend door under the dash.

Please check for a blower resistor problem. The fan speed is controlled by a resistor which controls blower speeds. The resistor works the lower speeds while usually high speed bypasses the resistor for full fan speed only. You either have a resistor or resistor electronic module. Google location for locaton of resistor. ( mini one blower resistor location) There is alot of info that may help you.

Under the dash on the passenger side, remove any panels under daash to expose it.

check blower moter relay or fuse ..if ok probly the control switch fan blower control switch....

Start by checking the fuse for the blower moter ifs its ok the blower may be bad

f that just put power to the blower moter and see it it runs if you pull the relay jump a wire across the terminals with it out and add a ground wire to the case of the blower to another spot on the chasis if it still does not run your blower switch may be bad dont worry just run a toggle switch to a good blower moter

ther is a blower moter resisterthat controls speeds;that burns out that is comon

replace the fan resistor located on the side of the heater box under the dash usually on the passenger side this controls the fan motor speed along with the switch itself.

THE DEFROSTER DOOR WAS FROZEN SHUT. WHICH CAUSED COMPUTER SWITCH TO GO OUT.HAD TO REPLACE THE DEFROSTER BOX(?) AND COMPUTER SWITCH. WORKS FINE NOW.
