My 1997 ford thunderbird makes a very loud sqeaking, screaching, grinding noise when I turn in either direction, get in and out of the car, going over bumps and driving on the road. What could be the problem?

they may be bad or going bad and will create that vibration. specially the tranny ones.

My grandfather has a 97 Ford Crown Vic that used to do the same thing. He had the front end greased when he got an oil change and that solved the problem. So thats probably all you need.

I had the same problem. It would squeak kinda bad when I pull in my driveway. My cv boots were good. I found the ball joints were getting wore out, as well as the shocks were over 10 yrs old. I replaced the ball joints and shocks. I know my squeaks stopped, I personally believe it was the shocks that fixed my squeaking.

If my throttle potion sensor is bad on my 2007 chevy tahoe over time can that cause my transmission to go?

I doubt it.
The sensor could make the transmission not know when to shift, but not much else.

Will not turnover

If it is just making a loud "grinding" or "screaching" noise, is is most likely a bad starter bendix or a torn-up flywheel, or BOTH.

Grinding noise when turning steering wheel 2000 ford tarus.also sqeaking noise when driving..

The first thing to check is that there is the proper amount of power steering fluid in your power steering pump fluid reservoir. The tie rod ends may also be at fault.

I have a 96 thunderbird that makes a loud whistling sound from air intake

If the noise is like a loud hoot or a wounded moose and you have a 4.6L engine then you need to update the iac intake tube. Ford basic part # 9H308. The turbulence that this tube creates makes you Idle air control resonate resulting in a hoot noise.
