I have a 1995 mercury grand marquis. It will turn over good, but will not start. I had stopped at a store. Engine was warm. Was inside for about 15 minutes. Car would not start afterwards. Used starting fluid and it started. Started good for a few days and then happened again. Car will no longer start.
In the trunk there is an emergency fuel pump cutoff switch. Make sure it's turned off before you take it anywhere and spend money.
Could be a clogged fuel filter, a clogged fuel sock (inside tank) or bad injectors. Also, try taking the gas cap off and see if it starts. if that's it, you need to replace the cap.
