93 passat fuse box

Have you double checked the electronic switch type thermistat mounted on the radiator that senses the temperature of the anti freeze. You can jumper around the switch while the car is started and the fan should start running (watch your fingers).

You can look at the sevice manual at your public library for free.

Open your driver door all the way out. Remove the side panel on the dash, between the steering wheel and the door hinges. A small scewdriver is all you need. The cover has the diagram, and there should be a card attached to tell you what the fuses are for.
