Brake rotors could be worn out.could have loose worn wheel bearings.could have worn tie rod ends or worn ball joints.

Get the engine tuned at any service station which uses a PC for diagnosing & rectifying the tuning very accurately. But before you do that, rev up the engine and observe whether the engine starts vibrations. If so, check engine mounting bushes and replace if deformed. However when a vehicle starts vibrating at high speed, its due to with the main axle which ends up at the differential. Both ends of this main axle have spider bearings at both ends. All bearings will have to wear down with use. A play will compound the effect at higher rpm.
As far as the engine is concerned, i.e. roughness of engine can be eliminated by using carb. cleaner for the injector nozzle which accumulate carbon at the nozzle tips, such that all cylinders are not able to provide equal force during combustion....sodeep

You have an engine misfire....unless you have expertise in this area you need to see your local shop as you will damage your catalytic converter if you continue to drive. An OBD II scan tool will id the cylinder to help but knowledge here is key!!

does it have abs if so if you brake hard it will shudder its normal if no abs then front disc rotors may need to be ground

You need to call a Volvo dealer. They'll likely ask you for a number on a sticker on the radio itself. You can find that sticker by pulling the radio out (push the 2 skinny vertical "bars" on each side of the radio to pop them out, then pull on them to pull out the entire radio unit).
