It will turn over and "Whine" but it won't start we have already ruled out the spark plugs, coil pack and module, the crankshaft censor, and the camshaft censor. what else could it be??
My 2000 escort starts and then dies in idle. i can start it again a few minutes later and it just dies again. service engine lightn went on a few minutes later after the first time it died. any ideas? not battery
So you have spark is the rotor button truning when you crank the mtr over. sorry these may seem like mundane questions but this what i need to know. you stated that the timing belt was replaced has the vech ran seens the belt was replaced?

have you checked the fuel deliverey maybe the fuel filter is blocked

Yes the starter is engauging the flywheel.....So now what? Help PLease!! It's been broke down for like 2 weeks now. and nooone knows whats wrong!!
Yeah we checked the timing and it's good we just put a new water pump and serpintine belt on it less than a month ago
did you check for fuel pressure?
have you tried changing the timing belt i do not see anywhere that you have checked this out and if teeth is missing is very possiable the timing is off now too.
is the starter engauging the flywheel our is the starter just spinning over. see if you can move the mtr by truning the crank at the crank shaft bolt kind off a pain but it will help with the check out kdc744
