Most auto part stores will plug into your car and bring up codes for free. You can also get a printout and prices. I always recommended buying the least expensive parts first. If you plan on doing the work yourself.

Gmc suspension won't go up

It is definitely an air leak, could be the hoses or the bags. Needs to be troubleshot.

I had this issue before and it turned out to be a bad ECM-Engine Control of the "brains" of the car. Best suggestion is, if you want to keep the car and have AAA, have your car towed to your garage of favor and have your car troubleshot. Be sure to list all the parts that have been changed or they will change one at a time and tell you it is the next thing, which would probably be a part you have already changed. Diagnostics run about $80-100 bucks.

Car dies suddenly when I'm driving

There are many causes to be troubleshot one by one: ELECTRICAL= Loose battery connection, loose distributor wires, bad key switch, loose fuse for ignition,
GAS= Intermittent clog in fuel line, fuel pump connection loose, crack in vacuum system... And that's just for starters!! There are all kinds of sensors in your car...have a shop check out the "memory" module with their tester to read codes that should give some direction to go in to fix it!

What is code p1388

That code is for variable cam timing over-retarded bank. Cost would be difficult to estimate without the exact problem being troubleshot. Could be anything from the computer to the wiring or to the actual variable cam solenoid itself. Maybe find a place that is knowledgeable about Jags and have them take a look

Audi A6 RPM Signal from ECU

dont think you are reading the codes right because PO in front of the code is not a genuine Audi code ,well not according to my information ,try autozone who issue these codes or a snap on code reader booklet

Bringing a 240 back from the dead...engine starts and runs good for about 1 second, then gets into loping heavily, will not run up in rpms, smells really rich. Diagnostic code points to MAF sensor, but...

I'll let you in on a classic volvo problem.
The fuel pump relay.
It may, or may not be the solution to this particular problem, but it's a damn good place to start looking.
Incase you don't know where to find it,..
It's located behind the ashtray.
It's the one on the right side.
It's a bad contact, and it over labours the relay.
Happy motoring:)

Bose radio in my sl500 not working properly

Stereo asks for code sporadically, will not turn on or will turn on then powers off?
This problem was troubleshot to poor connections on the fuses in the fuse box under the hood. Access the fuses, twist each fuse in it's holder. This will clean the contacts at both ends of the fuse and may bring the stereo back to a more reliable working condition.
