1994 FORD TAURUS LX FUIL PUMP
does the car start and idle?
If so, replace the fuel filter - being you put in a new pump, then filled the tank, driving to the station may have caused seditments to get into the filter and plug it up.
Also, find your MAS (mass airflow sensor) and with car running, tap on it with a screwdriver handle (or small tool) -- if the car dies, or stalls, (idle fluctuates; more so than while just idling); you can first purchase MAS spray cleaner - remove, spray inside (honeycome) generously, let air dry for 15 or 20 minutes; install and start engine - tap again with small tool, and if it still dies, stalls, or fluctuates, replace the sensor (MAS).
Also, make sure that if you already installed a new fuel filter, that it is facing in the right direction. On most (inline {near tank} filters}, there is an arrow that should point toward the front of the car (or if mounted horizontally (from one side of car to other, facing both directions) make sure the arrow is facing the driver side.
