This is the procedure when any light comes on your dash
By the way-- the same since 1983 some 31 years
You turn on the key-all lights come on the dash
Start engine they all go off --no faults with OBD2 System
Once a MIL Lamp,check lamp,ABS,trac,etc come on,you
check for codes that day or the next
Then you know if you should continue to drive until you have
an scheduled repair shop visit
You make every effort to have the vehicle diagnosed & ALL
things repaired,fix,whatever,once & done properly,the entire
car checked over ,complete within a week.
No driving around & asking what to do for weeks
Your car has faults that don't meet federal emission standards
or could cause damage. You don't know until it is checked out
I have no idea who told you to unplug a wheel speed sensor
or why your driving around knowing you have to make a repair
eventually,get it over with.
Someday-- such as a transmission issue-- driving 5 miles will
cost you 5 thousand
You have ABS System problems,Wheel Speed Sensor---Maybe!!
SOURCE: ABS and TC light on, speedometer and odometer not working
I have the 2000 Cadillac Catera Sport and I had the same problem. ABS, TC light and no speedometer and odo. I thought it was an electrical problem however I solved the problem by refurbishing the ABS Module. If you bring to the dealer it will cost you $3,000. You can have your ABS module rebuilt try modulemaster.com they do it for about $200 I believe. I got mine fixed because a friend of mine removed them and soldered some loose connectors together. All it cost me was a case of beer! It worked for my car just a suggestion for you guys. My ABS Module was a Bosch 5.3. Hope this helps!
SOURCE: the check tire pressure light and ABS auto
The tire pressure monitor detects any changes in the tire inflation
pressure. Therefore, it must initialize and store it in its memory if
the tires or wheels have been replaced, re-inflated or the tires have
been rotated. You should be able to re-initialize the system by following these
steps:
1. check and make sure that your tires are inflated to the correct pressure
2. turn the ignition switch to the ON position. If the low tire
pressure warning light comes on, push and hold the tire pressure
warning reset switch (think the switch is in the glovebox, but not sure) until the warning light turns
off and then release the switch.
3. now press and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the low tire pressure warning light blinks three times.
4. initialization is *not* completed until driving at the vehicle speed
of 19 mph or over for more than one hour. the tire pressure monitoring
starts when initialization is completed.

SOURCE: ABS LIGHT AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT ON DASH
make sure u didnt break a wire, there are sensors on the brakes, make sure theyre plugged in
SOURCE: abs light/traction control light
You can check out what the trouble code is by pushing and holding the information button and the up arrow (right side of instrument cluster above the radio) until all the instrument clusters light. Press the information button (last) to enter test mode. I've had an error C1234, meaning Left rear wheel sensor fault. I found the problem to be a corroded connector under the chasis just under the rear left door about 2 feet in. I had to by-pass (replace 1 wire due to corrosion at the connector.
SOURCE: i have a 96 cadillac deville and the traction control light stays on.
