Cant open ford Taurus hood 2003 pull cord doesn't work.

Pull the release and have someone hit the hood with there hand in the middle of the hood, by the latch/front. Then adjust the latch upwards. If the cable is broke then go from the bottom and push the release left or right to release. Follow the cable.

Cut back the hood release cable end and use a pair of locking pliers to pull the inner core and release the latch..

find a pair of pliers, remove the handle to pull on the hood release cable, and using the pliers (prefferrably locking pliers) pull on the cable, this should release the hood quickly

try having someone slap the hood when you pull the release, it may just be sticky

you could try using your fingers and pulling up on the hood while someone else pulls on the release lever

have someone lift lightly on the hood and try pulling the release,its probably dry and needs spraying with a penetrant of some kind..wd-40 evaporates and doesnt last long,so try some (knock-em-loose or JB

strip down the plastic coating and grab some pliers or vice grips and pull it then replace your line and handle

do you mean undone from the cable? if so, see if you can reach the attachment point for the cable and pull in direction of the cable to release

You will need 2 people to get the hood open. While you pull on the hood release cable have an assistant gently pound on the center of the hood until it pops up. If this does not work, inspect the hood release lever to see if the pivot broken, if so pull directly on the cable with a pair of locking pliers. After you get the hood open make sure to spray the latch with penetrating oil (WD40)

stretched or frozen... have helper bang on hood center front while you tug..once open lube abd grease all latch areas and cable end you see there...good luck
