Have you come to a solution with this problem? I have the exact same problems that you're describing. I've tried changing out the stalk for a brand new unit, but nothing changes. Have you been able to fix it?

High beams flash but don't stay on

you'd have to play with it and see if it's related to maybe a stuck fog light or simply the high beam switch is junk

First of all are your headlights a double filament type headlight? If yes then I would suspect that a power wire to the high beams is broken or shorted. If your high beams are a separate set of lights from your regulars running lights then either the high beams headlights are missing. or has a broken power wire or shorted or...You could check the fuse box under your dash and under the hood of the car to see if you have a fuse for the high beam lights.

2005 Ford Focus ZX3 SES, the blue high beam indicator in the dash comes on with low beams, and goes off with high beams. The indicator is on at the wrong time! I have tried the following: The turn signal...

It sounds like you are confused about how your headlamp system is supposed to work. The DRL does not run on the High beam circuit, it runs on the low beam circuit. The fog lamps are supposed operate with the park lamps and also with the low beams, not the high beams. From your description, I would say that your system is operating as designed and you are having trouble telling High from Low. (Don't feel bad, that is why high beam indicators were invented in the first place.)

I have 2006 grand prix and the bright lights wont come on. I move the blinker lever forward and the low beams stay on but i get the blue bright light on the dash, checked fuses all seem to be okay

do you hear the click of the dimmer switch when you move the lever if you do then the steel rod that goes from the lever to the switch itself is working and the switch is moving from the low beam to high beam circuit.if the blue dash indicator is on them power is coming out of the switch to the dash to operate the light.its possible that the dimmer switch may need to be adjusted a little if you don`t hear the click but moves enough to put the dash light on but not enough to turn the high beams on,that is possibly why the low lights stay on.or you have a bad dimmer switch itself

2007 toyota corolla high beams won't work when I pull the lever to switch from lo to hi--fuses all look good--blue indicator light (on dash) to show hi beams are on won't come on either

switch or fuse remove fuse and replace one same amp
maybe both high beam in bulbs blown
but blue light not coming on would say a fuse or switch faulty

High beam headligts will not come on + no dash

Sounds like a bad switch to me. If it was a relay,it would not work period. Not to mention, the switch controls the dash lights too.
