Question about 2001 Daewoo Leganza

Hi, I have a 2001 daewoo leganza and the key was broke off in the ignition so a locksmith came out and had to drill the ignition out and needless to say now I need a new ignition and the ignition switch but I can't find the part anywere, not even at the daewoo online in korea. Do you know were I might be able to get it.

all you do is first remove the centre spark-plug plastic cover, they are just allen-key screws, then more of the same M6 screws holds down the black plastic cover over the cams..I took it off an old Daewoo 2.0 motor i have off to expose the cams just the other day..

Hi, The timing is 6* of TDC. on a 4 cylinder engine. Hope this helps

Without checking it myself, could be fuel pump, ignition (spark to spark plugs) or timing belt.

How do I program a new OEM key for my 2001 Daewoo Leganza so it locks and unlocks the doors?

hi this is how you do it
first off make sure the alarm system is off then put the key to be programed into the ignition turn ignition on then off within 5 seconds this is then in program mode press the lock or unlock button 3 times within 20 seconds and then the central locking should start working indicating the remote is now programed...hope this helps please vote thanks

as daewoo was built using general motors bits,you should be able to get a key from a gm dealer with the chassis #....

Hi can someone please help me fine a radio code unlock for a 2001 daewoo leganza.

Pull off the trim around the radio and look in on top of the radio. I have found Daewoo radio codes stamped on a tag on top of the radio.
