I put a cold air intake on my 2007 saturn ion 2.2. now i have codes poping up.how do i fix these without putting my factory air box back on: code p0102,p0101,p0300,p0171

Nobody makes a cold air intake for a saturn ion. this one was made for a cobalt, both have a 2.2. ecotec motor

    these codes came up after i put on the aftermarket cold air intake. the codes did not come up when i had the factory airbox on. i know what the codes mean. i need to know how to get rid of them.

The P0102 means Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input
The P0101 means Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem
The P0300 means Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
The P0171 means System too Lean (Bank 1)

U put a cold air on my 2005 saturn ion 3. and i got codes saying my bank 1 was lean so i replaced the o2 sensor and now my car idles funny one and a while. im going to reset the car by unplugging the battery but how do i clear a code. i dont remember the code numbers i got but it said bad MAF which i had tested and cleaned with proper spray and or i have random missfires which i never had before with the factory box. And i had it tell me my fuel injectors could be bad but i replaced those like 10k ago. anyone know whats wrong or how to fix it?

Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1

Issues that may be causing this error code; fuel filter, vacuum leak, low fuel pressure, fuel pressure regulator. The easiest to do is replacing the fuel filter if it was never replaced. The next would be having a fuel pressure gauge to check pressure on the fuel rail's test valve; somwehere around 50-60psi after the ignition is turned ON. The pressure test can only tell you if the pressure regulator is maintaining pressure required for the fuel injection system. It will not tell you if flow is restricted while the engine is running, that can be attributed to a strangled fuel filter.

But just to explain, the OBD2 Codes are the key, 'something about' doesn't cut it. The codes are of the form 'P' and 4 numbers. The codes tell you the EXACT fault and from there you find the solution.

2007 saturn ion put in new stereo had passlock prob,sametime air quit blowing cold...put new fuses compressors fine its charged...????
There is a relay in the power block under the hood. Try to switch it out with the one for the horn. This is a easy test to see if your relay is bad. Both the relays are the same, so you will not short out anything.

CEL came on for the car, says it is idleing too high/low. After I just put on a cold air intake. Cleared code and the CEL came back on the next day. Anyway I can turn the idle down manually?
There is no way for you to turn the idle down manually, it is all computer controlled. Do not adjust any screws on the throttle body, they are set from the factory. The only way you may be able to fix your idle problem with out getting rid of your cold air intake and replacing it with the factory is by removing both the positive and negative leads on the battery and holding them together for about 5 min while disconnected. This will reset the cars computer and may compensate for the intake. If this does not help you will need to remove the after market intake and put back in the stock one.

This Definition of P0411 is : Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected
What does this mean? u have a electric air pump that pumps fresh air into the exhaust system during cold start, this reduces exhaust emissions, that pump is defective, replace it.

Your best bet there, is to run in to one of the big autoparts stores (Autozone, Pep Boys etc) and get a free code scan done. If the code doesn't point you in direction of fix, get back to us with that code(s) and we will be happy to assist you further.
Much cheaper and faster this way.

My check engine light on my 07 saturn ion keeps coming on and gives the code p1174 and p0300 what do they mean and how do i fix
1174 is a lean code, and would have to been set first because it will not set when the 0300 is there. 0300 is a random misfire, because it read after the lean code, it was probably caused by the lean condition. 1st check for vacuum leaks from hoses or intake gaskets, you cal listen for a hissing sound, or spray carb cleaner around intake systems, a change in rpm will be noticed when spraying near a vac leak. other probable causes are the upstream 02 sensor, map sensor, or fuel delivery problems. does the vehicle idle porly, or does it miss at the top end?

How do you lock a saturn 2007 ion car's door with a key?
Put the key into the keyhole and turn it counter clockwise. Now, if you want to lock all doors without using the key or the remote key fob, you can press the lock button your door. The car will chime a few times, then shut your door. About 5 seconds later, all doors will lock. Neat, huh?
