I have a Dodge 1990 D150 318 La engine not the magnum that came out later. It well start at a cold start, but the engine still runs tight But when driving coming to any kind of stop (red light, sudden stop, Stop sign or some small turns) it die out or wont's to die out. So I have to keep my foot on the gas peddle to keep it Idling and not dieing out but some days I don't have to keep foot on the gas peddle and it runs just fine. I have replaced Fuel Filter, replaced fuel lines form Carburetor to Fuel filter to Fuel pump, but the lines were ran with Carburetor hose, and I know you should probably use Metal line because of pressure. I have replaced the (spark plugs, wires,Distributor Cap,Fuel filter, rotor, Throttle body senors, map senors, and oil sending unit) and it still want's to die, but it ran fine for a few day's but it went back to die out and know sometimes it wont start. When it wont start and I then get it going I noticed in the Carb that it makes a Flapping noise that I never heard before and that the fuel is coming down on side of the wall in the 2 barrel Carb. I later come to a stop to check, I see that now the fuel Injector's are spraying but I don't know if it is to much or not a naff.

Fuel burned out of the bowl? A 95' with carburetor ? Wrong year or what?
SOURCE: 1990 DODGE D150 WON'T START WHEN HOT
There is a temp. sensor on the exhaust manifold that I just switched out on car that done the same thing it would start when cold but once it was hot and you killed the car it would not start back. When this goes bad its throwing the wrong signal to the computer that it is too hot and allowing it not to crank. This sensor was on the left side of the engine if your facing the car from the front. Also It can be tested with a multimeter to see if it is bad.

Its normal for the pump to run for three seconds then shut off if the car engine is off. . This indicates that the fuel pump turned on and the pressure did reach specifications. If the pump did not reach pressure the pump would continue to run, You need to check for proper pressure with a gauge. If tthe pressure is ok then you have another issue like an ignition module or crank sensor if applicable. You may have to drive the car with the fuel gauge hooked up to see if you still have pressure when it dies.. I know you said you replaced the pump already but do you have the same issues as before you replaced it. This would indicate which direction you need to go now. If the same then its prabably not the pump.
