Heat blows within the dash and does not blow on the windshield. Air also, AC and heat changes from vents to blowing in the dash without making adjustments with the switch.

It will not be the ac as it is cooling
It will be a problem climate control module and vent control system.
might be a vacuum hose that was disturbed during the hose replacement.

Possible bad blend door actuator .some gm cars can be relearned to the new climate control head

your heater core is possibly stopped up if there has been a radiator leak and stop leak has been poured its definetly clogged or could be a faulty thermostat

the heater vacuum motor and lines needs to be checked.Also get the blend door checked.

There is a blend door acuator which moves when u change your settings. Its a electric motor. Down under dash, Will need a mech and a heating and cooling diagram to find where the motor is,

Most likely a vacuum issue.

this problem is caused by a defective air temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is about center of dadsh in air ducting, it moves the door that diverts air for cold from ac or hot from heater, you must remove the dash to repace it, about a 15 hour job fotr a home mechanic with a factory repair manual, nearly imposs without one.

If you have the heater directed to the windshield, the AC will turn on. Move the control away from defrost.

common problem, check under dash by the gas pedal if control arms are muving went selecting from ac to heat cuz this it is the control for the vents to go from ac to heat and to defrost.
