can you comment of what makes you consider that it is the fuel pump
I get suspicious of statements like probably bad when a mechanic should have tested it first before making the statement
Take it to an accredited nissan service center and have the fault codes read as fuel pump symptoms can indicate an EVAP system failure not venting the fuel tank
You should not have to replace those sensors, Who told you to change them. How many miles is on the truck? This truck is not old enough to need knock sensors. What are your symptoms? Reply with details maybe save some money.
what have you done to repair the fault that shows the codes?
from your statement you are removing the codes and resetting the ECM but the codes come back and the vehicle goes back into limp mode
one of the codes (p 0734 --0?) refers to gear 4--incorrect ratio===causes --wiring---TR sensor /switch ---shift solenoids---transmission mechanical fault
If that fault area is not fixed then the TCM doesn't know what gear to select so it goes to limp mode
it is a statement and not a question
comment on what make of car model year and the fault that required a scan of the faults and the fault code that was recorded if you want help
Mr.Fatodu,
according to your statement, your car is using enough engine oil. Now this depends to how often you were changing the engine oil and the guality of oil used. For me all BMW'S OIL CHANGE Every 5000 miles long drive and 4000 miles short drive. Oil used full synthetic Castrol 5W40. Since now you have the smoking issue should use an oil treatment additive FORTE For stop smoke. Trythis first and see whether you have any success.
you make sense 40 % of the question or statement or whatever you are trying to say. If you are talking about the oil drain plug then no you can not over tighten or strip this out by hand. who ever did the last oil change striped with wrench.
from your statement there has been no fault code reading done and it has all been guessing
Has anybody thought of checking the cat converters for failure and blocking the exhaust system
rich and back firing indicates injector seal leaks which will not show as an independent code but as too rich
