Now the question is
did you get the original master cylinder as a replacement or did you get a new master cylinder for the car that the callipers came off
understanding that there is a direct relationship between master cylinder piston size and calliper piston size, you problem appears to be that there is not enough surface area in the master cylinder to effectively push the calliper pistons out to apply the correct braking pressure
mixing and matching with brakes requires a lot of hydraulic knowledge and pressure differences which include fitting a proportioning valve in the rear brake lines to prevent brake lock up at the rear wheels

SOURCE: how do you open the hood on a 1992 geo tracker

If it's not under the dash or near the kick panel on the driver's side, then check inside the glove compartment on the top part of it. For some reason, the Suzuki Sidekick has it located in the glove compartment. I'm guessing that since both cars are made identical, then it should be in the same location

SOURCE: how do I remove the speedometer cable to

Easiest way is to do it from the gearbox end to save stripping out the dash and then having rattles after you have finished!

Disconnect at the top of the gearbox (it simply comes out by removing the small bolt that holds it in then pull up and out)

Rise the cable as high as possible, spray onto it in a way that makes its way onto the inner cable - use penetrating fluid first the spray with a lube that has a teflon base as this will keep it lubed for a long time.

SOURCE: 1995 4x4 geo tracker front wheel bearings

first you remove the wheel then the break caliper then remove the locking hubs just remember to lay out the parts in order a special tool is called for but this job can be done without it you have to use a small cold chisel and a hammer to tap the large nut counter clockwise to remove, you can then remove the outer bearing and the rotor and hub assembly look on the back side reomve the bearing seal and inner bearing be sure to pack your new bearings with grease before you reassemble . takes less than an hour.

SOURCE: my 1992 geo tracker wont start but if u spray

Guys-no schrader valve-and 92 doesn't have scan capability. Its a fuel problem-so listen at fuel tank inlet with cap off and have someone turn key to on, not start, ON. Hear the pump run for 2 to 3 seconds??, Pump may be ok. next find fuel inlet on back of throttle body and loosen it, don't remove. Key on again does fuel spill out of connection? Pump is OK! Tighten up fuel inlet to throttle body. Make a jumper wire with a 5amp fuse in the middle and alligator clips on each end. Locate the POWER wire to the injector, red I think. Pierce the power wire with a pin or whatever and attach one alligator clip to the pin and the other clip to the positive battery post. Start the car!! IF it starts and runs, the circuit in the PCM that provides power to the injector has burned out. Rebuilt ECMs are on ebay. Common failure. Good Luck!

Do you have to bleed master cylinder on 106 if master cylinder resorvior is empty

You don't have to bleed the master cylinder, you are going to have to prime it and bleed your entire brake system again. When you are bleeding your breaks you never let the reservoir run dry or the master cylinder starts to push air through the entire system. Not just on the line running to your front caliper. This is probably the reason you aren't getting pressure even when you pump the breaks.

Geo tracker brakes

lose the fittings at the master cylinder, you should have two of them , one for the front brakes and one for the rear, get a friend to push the brake pedal ( not too hard, be careful they may spay all over) ; and see if any fluid is coming out with his pedal down tight the fittings back with the pedal down,so you don't get any air in the lines. If nothing comes out you have a bad master cylinder.

Bleed breaks pedal still spongy

On these old manual brake systems without automatic adjusters you have to set the shoe clearance by turning the adjuster on each shoe out so the shoe is very close to the drum. If there is too much clearance between the shoe and drum the shoe will move as far as it can and never touch the drum, this will make a low or no pedal pressure.

I install reman booster new master cylinder and the pedal goes to the floor what can i do

You probably need to start over...1st by bench bleeding the master cylinder...(you can do this on your the bleeding instructions...after completing this you need to be sure the master cylinder is full of brake will need a helper...but your next step will be to bleed each wheel brake caliper or cylinder. Start with the right rear, next left rear, then right front to drivers side front...(farthest away to start) you may have a brake fluid leak...if not, your pedal pressure should continually raise...Hope this helps.

How do I bleed the brakes on my 1997 geo metro?

every vehicle has a brake caliper and or a wheel brake cylinder, on these are a bleeder screw that kinda looks like a grease fitting. locate this bleeder and break free so it turns freely (un screws and screws in ) do this to both sides of the front or rear of vehicle. the brake system shares the same brake master cylinder and fluid, but runs seperate features that operate the front or the rear brakes. Now that bleeders are free and turn easily make sure you tighten them . it doesnt take much just snug them. now fill master cyl with brake fluid dot 3. put cap on master cylinder. have a helper sit in car and pump breaks, at the fifth (5) pump hold brake pedal to the floor, and keep continuous pressure, at this time you loosen or (crack) the bleeder screw allowing fluid and air to escape, tighten screw, and repeat. after second time check fluid in master cylinder and fill. proceed this step on one side untill air bubbles are no longer present, then repeat same procedure on other side. The vehicle does not have to be running. Tell your helper to hold down brakes, and do not release untill told, open bleeder, fluid and air will escape, tighten bleeder screw and then tell them ok pump brakes, after 5 pumps you yell down and they hold down, loosen and bleed, tighten and yell pump. check fluid often and fill, wear eye protection.

What needs to be done after replacing front brake pads on a 2005 s60 if the pedal goes to the floor? They were bleed after the new pads were installed.

The liquids does not compress, so there is no reason for the brake pedal to go to the floor. If you have no brake pressure, after bleeding the system, then the master cylinder is wasted. The brake master cylinder leak might be Internal, or External. Check around the master cylinder for any external leak. The break fluid is an excellent paint eater, so clean any leak before you remove the Master Cylinder. The new Master Cylinder needs a bench bleeding process, before installed in your car.

When its running the peddal goes right to the floor

The master cylinder you have purchased is faulty. Take it back and exchange it. I'm assuming it was purchased at somewhere like AutoZone?! It is not uncommon to get bum hydraulic and electrical parts that have been remanufactured. They will exchange it for you. Then, once you start bleeding, make sure the rear brakes are adjusted properly and start at the right rear to bleed. So R/R, L/R, R/F, and last is the L/F. This should take care of your issue.

Can not get a pedal, replaced master cylinder twice, bled everything, no pedal...can't seem to get fluid out of the 3 front ports on the master cylinder...could both master cylinders be defective, or am I...

Did you bleed the master cylinder before you put it in the vehicle? This usually makes it easier to bleed the entire brake system if this is done before you install the master cylinder.Other wise all you have done is put air in the brake system. The master cylinder kit usually comes with a bleeder kit. This is for bench bleeding the master.Hope this helps.Good luck.
